Member associations


Talentia has 31 member associations: 20 regional associations and 11 national professional associations. When a member joins Talentia, he or she automatically also joins one of the regional associations. Joining a professional association is optional but recommended, and Talentia's membership fee includes membership in a professional association.

The regional and professional associations offer support to their members and help them get their voice heard. They keep in touch with local decision-makers and members of parliament, inform, publish, and campaign. Associations offer recreation and training opportunities, arrange meetings and events, and provide the members with an opportunity to have a say in society.

Tasks of the regional associations:

• local representation of members' wage interests,
• local recreational and associative activities,
• provision of information, issuing of statements and opinions, press releases and announcements

Tasks of the professional associations:

• representation of members' professional interests,
• professional training and networking,
• provision of information, issuing of statements and opinions, press releases and announcements

An association can be urged by a member to issue a statement or, if necessary, to take action.
