Organisation and decision-making
Talentia is an affiliate of Akava, the trade union confederation for employees with high-level education.
Through its regional associations, Talentia has over 21 000 individual members. In addition to 20 regional associations, Talentia is composed of 11 professional associations.
The highest decision-making body of the union is the Council. Matters to be addressed by the Council are prepared by the Board, which is chaired by the President of the union. The Board implements the decisions taken by the Council. The Board may appoint committees to assist it in its activities. At the moment, there are four active committees.
In addition, Talentia has a Committee on Professional Ethics, which is appointed by the Council.
