Representation of professional interests
Talentia promotes its members' professional interests by:
- participating in the public debate on the results of the work of social welfare professionals and the preconditions for it;
- creating networks and cooperating with employers, educators, and political decision-makers to develop the social welfare field;
- taking part in projects for the development of social work education, professions, and legislation.
The aims of the promotion of professional interests are:
- to bring the scope of the work of social work professionals, their continuing professional education, and work counselling to a level that ensures job satisfaction;
- to create appropriate and meaningful conditions for the members' work;
- to ensure that sufficient resources are allocated for the development of the social welfare field and its tasks and wages.
