Representation of educational interests


Talentia furthers the educational interests of its members by:
  • participating in the public debate on the skills provided by higher education in the social welfare field and on the skills needs in the field,
  • creating networks and cooperating with education and training providers and education planning officers,
  • monitoring the employment situation of recent graduates and providing job search advice to imminent graduates,
  • taking part in projects for the development of the education, professions, and legislation in the social welfare field.

By protecting the educational interests of its members, Talentia seeks to ensure that:
  • the amount and quality of graduates are commensurate with labour market demand,
  • the contents and structure of education and training are commensurate with labour market demand,
  • graduates find employment that matches their training,
  • social welfare professionals have equal opportunities to undergo postgraduate and continuing education.
